KPop Fans - Normal vs. Periods

So, after watching several videos on YouTube. I realise there are quite many videos about girls during their period. And let me just say, most of them are actually coughtruecough. But then it got me thinking, why don't I make a video just like that? But instead of a normal period video, I'll make it related to KPop.

So here it is! A life in a KPopers during their period. 
Let me remind you, do not mess with KPop fans during their period. It'd be messy.



1. WATCHING K-DRAMA / K-MV
What did you say? We're already overreacting every time we watch the video? Well, let me tell you what, Mister. We are even messier during our period. The feels just explode in our heart.

2. WATCHING THEIR PERFORMANCES ON OUR SCREEN
No explanation needed. Even though it's not a live performance like a concert, we still scream to the top of our lungs. Even if it's only a music show performance. Why? I don't know.

3. WATCHING THE TEASER / NEW MV
I have a YouTube channel, and I do make reaction video sometimes. But my best friend usually like to tease me and watch the teaser RIGHT.IN.FRONT.OF.MY.FACE.WHY.? That's why sometimes the side effect of a period could be annoying.

4. THE DESIRE TO GRAB EVERYTHING GETS WORSE
And by everything I mean EVERYTHING. From posters, mini albums, full albums, repackage albums photo cards, clothes (you know, all those replica of the clothes that the idols were wearing?), and the worst one, their concerts.

5. NO SUBTITLES!
This is the hardest obstacle that an INTERNATIONAL FANS, like me, have to deal with. For example, when they decided to have a surprise V-App broadcast but of course, no subtitles. Well, I'm done. I'm waiting for the subtitles. #blessallofyouwhosubsvideoswhilewesleep

Hey, hey!! Christmas's coming very soon. And since I'm a huge fans of KPop, I will share with you my top 10 Christmas KPop songs. And here they are,


BTOB - The Winter's Tale
Do I even need to explain? Their cute faces, sweet voices, gentle melody, and Christmas mix all together in one song? Done. Merry Christmas to you too.

EXO - Miracle in December & Sing For You
Feeling gloomy this Christmas? Or just want to feel mellow and sad? Then these are the songs for you, ladies and gentlemen.

Jonghyeoon (CNBLUE) & Juniel - Love Falls
You really need to watch the music video. It's so sweet and just super sweet! I think I might have diabetes if I watch that MV to much. Plus their amazing voices, makes the song even more lovely.

TVXQ - Magic Castle
They are the legend. Duh. That song is just super sweet. But let me remind you, it's a little bit old-school style. But still, it's a lovely song to hear this christmas.

GOT7 - Conffesion
Unlike any other Christmas song. Got7 release a music about conffesing to someone around Christmas day. And the music video was actually taken in a school in Korea. So sweet!

JYP Nation - This Christmas
Thw whole family of JYP sing in this song. But this was back in 2010. So yes, Got7 and Twice is not in the song nor the music video. But this is a lovely upbeat Christmas, and with a little bit rap as well !

SMTOWN - Santa U Are The One
This one, it's an upbeat song as well. So if you want to be happy this Christmas, this song is for you! But, I don't know if this is by SMTown or by Super Junior. Well, they do put SMTown family member in the music video though. But overall, it's an exciting song!

TTS - Dear Santa
Don't fall for the trick! This song is not a sad song. It's actually a fun song to listen to. But if you want a mix of a little bit of mellow with a lot of fun, then voila! You have "Dear Santa" ! Enjoy!

EXO - Unfair
I know this song doesn't really have the Christmas theme. But hey, it suits the season. In love, happy, holiday, are all in this song. Just try and listen to it if you haven't already.

Sung SiKyung & Ailee - Baby It's Cold Outside
This might just be a cover of a popular Christmas song. But still, those two nailed it! I suggest you to listen to it. Because it's just that good!

SEVENTEEN - Lean On Me
This might not be a Christmas song. Really not related to Christmas at all. But, this is a really good song for someone who is feeling down, tired, and just need a healing song to cheer them self. I suggest you listen to this while reading the translation. This song is about a person who wants you to lean on him / her if you're ever feeling tired or just want to lean on someone. I know Christmas could be a really depressing time of the year, that's why I suggest this song. Just try it :)

Flash Update

Hello there my lovely friends out there!! It's me Michelle. And yes, I'm still alive and still here thank you. It's just that, I'm currently in my last year of Senior High School. So it's been school project here, school project there, and here and there and over there. And also school tests. And I did just finished my mid-term test this week. So..

So my KPop life has been a mess. I missed lots of comeback. Like Ailee, APink, DIA, VIXX, Red Velvet, Got7, 2PM, and so many more that I haven't watch the music videos yet. I really want to, but I want to record it as a reaction video. So it's quite a torcher for me.

But don't worry, I do watch some KDrama to accompany me along the way. Like Scarlet Hearth *Where's team SooSo?* and Cinderella and the 4 Knights *love the ending <3*. And I recently watch The K2 which looks awesome!! *ChangWook & Yoona FTW!*

I do want to make a reaction video. But I've been so busy, since I'm also preparing my self for university and stuff.

My SM Global Audition Exp

Hello everyone! For today's post, I want to share with all of you my SM Global Audition Experience that I did about 2 years ago. I've never really write it, but I have share it on my YouTube channel like two years ago. So here it goes!

[ WARNING : this will be a very long long long LONG paragraph. Thank you. ]

First of all, I apply for my audition by sending them an email. For SM Global audition there are actually three ways (back then) to register. First, their official website. Second, through Everysing (an SM app). And then third, sending them email.
When I send them my email I wrote basic information, like :

• Name / Gender
• Audition place
• Birth date
• Audition category
• Contact information (phone number / active email)

And then I have to wait until they reply my email (they send a confirmation email). How long do we have  to wait? It depends on your luck. Like really, for me I wait for at least a month. But there are also people who waited for more than a month or less then month. It really depends on your luck.

When I got my confirmation email, then I know what time and where the audition is going to be held. Once I arrived at the location of the audition, I waited in line to register again before I can really participate in the audition. Oh and whoever accompany you to that audition place and he/she is not joining the audition, have to wait at the lobby. Don't worry, the lobby will be filled with other people who are waiting too.

Then, I have to wait for a really really really long time. I'm not kidding. I waited for at least 2 hours before they call me. And in that 2 hours, you'll get your audition number. But remember! Once you get your audition number, you can't leave the waiting room even if you really have to wee-wee (you get what I mean right?)

When it's time for my audition, they called 20 people at once to go to a different floor (a.k.a the audition floor). And let me tell you, every single person in that 20 people, every single one of them even me. We felt like out heart is going to explode. And when I arrived at the floor, the situation didn't help either. It was really quite and it was full with people looking nervous and about to pass out. And when and ONLY when you get into the audition room (room not floor) it was a whole new world #LetsSingAWholeNewWorldTogether 

There were only 2 judges. One sitting on the chair looking at you like an eagle looking at its prey, and the other one control the video cam to record you for their documentary files.

And when I finally got out of that room, my soul.. its just.. I can't even explain it with word. It was beyond relief. And then I live happily ever after #what?


And now, I want to share some tips if you want to do an audition. And I think it can be use for any kind of audition. There are lots of tips after this.. so be prepared for a really long paragraph..

A. Before Audition

• Decide as quickly as you can what you're going to audition. The faster you decide the faster you can start practising (ability and mentally).
• Ask opinion from people around you (teacher, friend, families) on your ability so you can fix when there is/are something to fix.
• Keep you health in mind! Do not, and I repeat DO NOT do something that will make you health turn bad. Example :
• Eat something oily or dry or something like that is a no no. It's bad for your throat and can make you sick. Eat vegetable or something that you steam or something that is not oily.
• Do not practice to much. Either dancing, singing, modelling, composing, acting, etc. Too much practice could lead to lack of rest. Make sure you have enough rest. You don't want to be sick during your audition right?
• Make sure to do some warming up before you dance / sing / modelling. Let's stretch those muscles before we start.
• Prepare the stuff you're going to bring. And make sure you don't bring too much. You're going to audition not some picnic.

B. Audition Day

• Wake up early! Don't sleep late and set your alarm boys and girls. Let's start the day early!
• Do Not miss breakfast! Just don't.
• Check your stuff again
• Must go at least 2 hour before your audition time. Specially if you're in a city like Jakarta. Traffic jam everywhere #YEYnot
• Bring your portable charger, drink, and some meal (maybe like bread?). Because if you have to wait as long as I was or maybe even longer, you'll want something to drink, something to eat, and something to charge your phone.
• Bring pen to fill your re-registration form.
• Go to the toilet before you got your audition number!
• Going there alone? Me too. Just get to know someone there. Maybe like the person sitting next to you?
• Be confident and give it your all! Just think of it as your last chance. You don't want to feel regrets when you leave that room.

Dear KPop #1

Dear Kpop..

So this is actually a new series that I've been thinking about. And it's basically like a diary but, of course, about KPop. To be specific, my KPop life.
So here it goes! Hope you enjoy it!

Dear Kpop..

First of all, I'm still thrilled and happy and proud and crazy *please stop* that Chanyeol did a cover of a song from Baekhyun called Dream. Well, "Dream" is basically a collaboration song that SM Baekhyun did with JYP Suzy.

I think the person, or people, who chose Chanyeol to cover this, did not only chose him because of his angelic deep voice, but also because they know.. that we ship BaekYeol. #thepowerofBaekYeol. Well anyway, I'm glad to say that I'm very satisfied with that collaboration. And NaYeon from Twice did a very good job on taking Suzy's part. Her voice was amazing as well. Thank you to whoever chose that song and the couple.


Second. Seventeen decided to mess with Carats hearth! And one of those Carats, is me! Why did they suddenly decided to post a teaser of their Repackage Album, and let me restate it, a REPACKAGE Album. Like what?! I'm not ready for that. I'm not ready for any of that. I want to be ready but I can't. Yet. My heart.. #Blessme. 

And if you saw the photo teaser. Why did they posted a breakfast menu, bunch of ice cream sticks, laundries, games, Seventeen members hand, blue team vs. pink team, and then last.. SeungKwan glowing and amazing handsome face? I'm not complaining as long as I can see their faces on TV shows and on their MV. Can't wait for the MV !



Third. Did you see the music videos that EunHyuk, Sungmin, Shindong, and YunHo did while still in the army? Like seeing their faces and hearing their voices after all this times.. My soul as an ELF and a stan of Yunho is healed. If you haven't seen it yet, that hurry up and watch it.
